Is It Hard To Eat After Chin Filler?
We recommend a soft diet for 2-3 days after treatment, as your chin may feel heavy, making it difficult to chew tougher foods. As the mentalis muscle (chin muscle) works hard when we talk and eat, you may find over-the-counter painkillers help with any mild discomfort you experience.
Does Chin Filler Get Softer?
Fillers can take several days to integrate with your skin, and the minor swelling and bruising usually subsides after 72 hours. After this time, you will see the full benefits of treatment. We recommend top-ups every 12 months to stop the filler from softening, and the effects subsiding.
What Else Do I Need To Know Before Getting Chin Fillers?
As a topical numbing agent is used, you should only feel very slight pressure when the filler is administered. The 15–30-minute procedure is minimally-invasive, and preceded by a consultation to assess your suitability for dermal fillers. Treatment is unsuitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
