Set out below are the terms and conditions on which Skin NV Ltd provides services to its clients.
Please note your visit to www.Skinnv.co.uk binds you to Skin NV’s terms and conditions, alongside all applicable laws and regulations, and you agree to comply with these terms and any applicable local laws and regulations.
The term ‘client’ will refer to patients of the Skin NV clinic.
All clients will have a Consultation prior to any treatment being offered. We welcome a cooling-off period for our clients post consultation and prior to treatment being conducted. During the Consultation we will assess whether the requested and/or recommended treatments are suitable for you/ and their likelihood of success. Should we feel the treatments may not be suited at the time we will inform you as to the reasons why. Please note that if we feel the treatment is not appropriate, we have the right to decline to treat. Should we believe that alternative/specialist treatment is better suited to your concern, a referral to an appropriate professional may be offered
Please note that no guarantee can be given as to the precise results of any treatment undertaken. We make every effort to ensure you have the best possible outcome, however as it applies to all medical procedures, can be a spectrum of results. Results vary from individual to individual whilst also depending on numerous factors, many of which cannot always be predicted. At Skin NV, we endeavour to use what is considered best practice and up-to-date techniques/approaches to help achieve a satisfactory outcome, but please note that there can be no guarantees as to the final outcome. Please be aware that your expectations and the predicted realistic outcome may be different.
All our clients are required to provide both written and verbal consent for a treatment. Without this requirement, treatment will not be provided. Consent for consultations are implied upon booking this online or in-clinic appointment.
Skin NV Ltd is registered with The Data Protection Act and will not discuss your treatment or share your details with any third party unless formally requested to. By providing direct and personal contact details can further enforce this.
All our clients will be photographed for monitoring purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, we retain the right to decline conducting the treatment. All clients will be required to complete a photography consent form with regards to the way in which their images will be used. You will be given the opportunity to opt out of use of your anonymised images for marketing, for use as a portfolio of work to show potential clients in-clinic, for use of teaching and/or research. Anonymised images will have identifiable features blocked out, such that the treated area is clearly visible.
Clinic Appointments and Cancellations
Initial in-clinic consultations are made at your request and require a £50 consultation fee to be paid upon booking in order to secure your appointment; this fee is redeemable upon any first treatment. This does not include products. For online consultations, the fee is £35 and is redeemable upon the first treatment or homecare products. For regular treatments, numerous consultations will not required, however should a new treatment option be suggested, you may be advised to arrange a consultation specifically for this treatment. You may be required to pay the consultation fee and are advised to discuss this with your practitioner.
Cancellations made 48 working hours (Mon-Friday 9am-5pm) prior to your appointment are free of charge; and we will try to reassign your booking time for another patient. You will receive a refund of the fee paid to make this booking. That refund would be £50 for in-clinic consultations, £35 for online consultations and £100 for treatment appointments. It can take up to 14 working days for this refund to be received. Please contact us if you have not received your refund after 14 working days.
However, missed appointments, arriving late, amendments, rescheduling or cancellations made less than 48 working hours will incur a fee and as a result, the fee paid to book the appointment will not be refunded. I.e. the fee for an online consultation £35, in-clinic consultation £50 and treatment appointment £100 will be retained. If you are booked on any course of treatment and are late or fail to attend that treatment will be automatically deducted from your course. Please also note that we have the right to decline further appointments if deemed appropriate. To minimise/avoid such situations, we will send reminder notices via your preferred method of contact.
Due to unforeseen circumstances your appointment may occasionally run late and we ask you to please note that as this is a medical practice we cannot always honour agreed times, however we shall do our best to alert you of this should there be a significant delay.
All in-clinic consultations incur a fee of £50, however this fee is redeemable against your first treatment, not products. Online consultations incur a fee of £35 and this fee is redeemable against your first treatment or products. All online consultations will be recorded and will be managed confidentially as the client’s record. The Welcome Gift Pack is not currently available for Covid-19 security.
Bookings for Treatments and Treatment Courses
All your treatments purchased as a course of treatments must be paid in full prior to your first treatment. For those paying via finance payment plans will receive treatment when they have been approved to proceed. All treatments must be performed within the first twelve months of the date of the booking. Any treatments not conducted by the 12th month of the initial booking date will be forfeited. All courses of booked treatments are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, should you not be able to complete your course due to unforeseen medical reasons (formally documented by your specialist doctor or GP) we shall be able to offer an alternative solution at our discretion.
Please note listed prices on printed and online materials are intended as a guide and should be confirmed at the time of the consultation itself. At the time of booking treatment, you will be provided with a treatment invoice, of which a client-signed copy will be retained by Skin NV Ltd.
Please note once a syringe is purchased in Clinic it has to be used at the time of the treatment only and for the consulted client (for hygiene and safety purposes). Any additional injections/ top-ups thereafter will incur a new syringe fee.
All previous treatments should be discussed during the initial Consultation, therefore it is advised to bring this information with you to this appointment. Any information not provided during the Consult or on the consent paperwork relating to previous fillers injected will be held at the risk of the client, should any complications occur relating to filler interaction in the future.
Botulinum Toxin Injection Top-up Reviews
After your initial botulinum toxin treatment, we encourage all our clients to attend a complimentary visit at around 2 weeks time post initial treatment. Any additional units injected may be subject to further charges which shall be discussed during the review appointment. Should you not book your review at 2 weeks or fail to attend it, an £80 review fee will be incurred if the review is held within the first 4 weeks. This fee will not include any additional units of botulinum toxin. No further units will be administered after this 4 week period as botulinum toxin may reduce in efficacy in certain treated areas and you will require another treatment session for this area.
The client is obliged to inform us of any previous treatments. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the client to adhere to recommended precautions prior to and following treatments. Skin NV Ltd does not accept liability for any complications as a result of inaccurate medical history, incomplete disclosures, or failure to adhere to required precautions or follow ups.
We do not refund skincare products for hygiene reasons. Should you have concerns regarding any side effects associated with a product, you are advised to contact us for further guidance.
All procedures and products carry risks both for expected adverse effects and true complications which you have consented to. Some people may be at greater risk of complications. All our clients are requested to contact us directly as soon as possible should they experience any adverse effects and/or complications and we shall offer you the next available appointment for your review, photography and strategy formulation. Should a complication be more serious, and you wish to treat it yourself through the NHS or privately, please inform us of your decision. Should we also feel that you may need to be seen by the NHS we may be able to support with recommendations and arrangements within the NHS, or if you wish privately then this shall be at your own cost.
Please note that we do not offer a refund or transfer of payment in the event of any side effect (including but not limited to redness, bruising, swelling, itching, tenderness) or rare complications (including but not limited to hypo/hyperpigmentation (discolouration), infection, allergy, tissue injury, nerve injury, vascular injury, necrosis, scarring etc).
Prior to any treatment it is the client’s responsibility to provide us with all relevant medical information. Skin NV Ltd, Dr Natasha Verma and her team will not be liable for any damage that occurs due to the client’s failure to disclose all information.
Prior to and after all treatments it is the client’s responsibility to fully comply with all instructions/information/guidance provided to them by Skin NV Ltd, Dr Natasha Verma and her team regarding the care required.
Skin NV Ltd, Dr Natasha Verma and her team will not be liable in contract or otherwise for any economic/financial loss or for any other indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.
We endeavour to treat all our clients appropriately, compassionately and fairly. Should however in the unlikely event you experience an issue with any part of your treatment journey, you are entitled to make a complaint and we shall be happy to provide you with our complaints policy.
Use of Website Materials
Please note that permission to only temporarily download one copy of the website materials for personal use/non-commercial transitory viewing only under license is only granted to our clients. Furthermore, transfer of title is not provided. Under this licence you cannot: modify any content; make copies of any materials herewith; make use of any materials for any public display/educational content/commercial purposes; or transfer the materials to another entity or person.
Please note this license will automatically terminate if you happen to violate any of these restrictions and furthermore may be terminated by Skin NV Ltd at any time.
Please note that upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license it is your duty and need to destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether they happen to be in electronic or printed format.
